Masterpiece Mixes Progressive House September 2009

September is a month long 1 year anniversary celebration of this blog. So I am offering special treats to my loyal blog followers by making the "Masterpiece Mixes" compilations.

This is the first series of compilations that I have made. Mostly progressive house and some progressive trance.

These masterpiece mixes are originally mixed and recorded in 44.1 khz, 16 bit digital stereo format on a standalone computer specifically used only for recording with an M-Audio Audiophile Series Soundcard and Sony Soundforge Pro 9.0 Studio software and is enhanced with DBX processing equipment. These mixes are also available on promotional only lightscribe cd's.

90 Minutes Of Funky Soulful House August 2009

Summer has finally arrived in Toronto, after 2 dismal months of cold rainy weather in June and July. I was supposed to post this mix for the month of September but I know you guys have been waiting for my funky soulful tunes.

This is a special 90 minute mix for the upcoming 1 year anniversary month long fest this September. If you are burning this on cd 90 minute cd-r's are available.

So here are some nice tunes for you to enjoy on a nice lazy saturday or sunday or cruising in your convertible.

This compilation features some remixes by Richard Earnshaw.

Mixed and recorded on the fly. Ever since I got this processor made by DBX the 4bx dynamic range expander-compressor with impact restoration all the digital mp3 tracks have sounded more warmer and sweeter. I wanted to eliminate the harshness of today's all digital music.

2 New DJ Johan Limcangco mixsets Latin House & Funky House

The pride of Manila, The Philippines, DJ Johan Limcangco strikes again with 2 new wonderful mixes.

The first one is titled "Stolen from Roxy 2009". I think he used some tracks from DJ Rox-Star's (aka Ms.Ria Quinio) files, an excellent DJ who is originally from Manila too and is now based in San Francisco. I will feature her mixes soon here.

The second mix is a titled "Latin Flavors". A very nice compilation of Latin House music.
